current favourite: tamizo architects.

Tuesday 21 June 2011

Emergency post! I just realized that my current favourite, Tamizo Architects from Poland, have just updated their website. They uploaded new images last Friday. How did I not know about this until today? You could say that I'm a little bit excited about this revelation. So much so, I thought I should share it with you all straight away.

What I love about this group of talented architects is that hey really know how to design minimalist spaces with a sense of warmth. Their joinery is perfectly streamlined and beautifully proportioned, with well considered transitions between materials and forms. Although minimal, they draw on the subtle qualities of their material palette. This imbues their spaces with a sense of texture and warmth, offsetting the harshness that can often come with a minimalist space. Below is a selection of images from their latest projects. Visit their website for more.

All images from Tamizo Architects' website.
