Last week I went to
Obus' Spring/Summer Launch at their Flinders Lane store. The theme was "Destino Mexico." It was an evening of Frida Kahlo lookalikes, saturated colours, taco munching, tequila cocktails and a roving mariachi band. It was enough to convince any colour-blocking sceptic to wear bright tights and a playful printed frock.
Obus have always known how to rock colour and have consistently had great success in this city. Pretty impressive given that Melbournites are notoriously colour-phobic.
