from dianna snape's personal collection.

When it comes to shooting architecture, Dianna Snape is basically photographer royalty. Am I right or am I right? I had the pleasure of bumping into Dianna at my performance on the weekend (how nice to have her there) and she mentioned that she's uploaded photos from her recent holiday. I'm pretty familiar with Dianna's architectural work but I was thrilled to discover these treasures from her personal collection.

Below are a mix of recent and older photographs from Dianna's travels. The dramatic landscapes are often represented with a distorted sense of perspective, depicting places that seem almost unreal or imaginary. Pretty breathtaking stuff. Take me there, I say!

Mt Kilimanjaro from Dianna's recent holiday.
Milford Sound, New Zealand.
Mt Etna, Sicily.

PS. If you're wondering what's with all the travel related posts, after years of being tied down by my evil mortgage, traveling is finally starting to look possible again. So you could say that I'm a tad excited.

All images via Dianna Snape's website. She also has a blog that's worth checking out.

  2. Ella, thanks so much for your kind words. The beach shot is Lorne so I think you can make it there. I love your blog, keep the posts coming. Cheers
