My friends Michelle and Ash tied the knot on Saturday. I usually prefer low key weddings, but it was impossible to resist the charm of this picture perfect, big white wedding. The venues were all class. The ceremony was under the exquisitely beautiful ceiling of Michelle's high school chapel and the reception was held at the renovated Victorian mansion, Quat Quatta.
Every detail was considered and oozed of Michelle's design-loving eye; from her stunning dress (including the back button detail she added herself) to the table place cards and right down to the blink-and-you'll-miss-it cushions she made for the benches outside the entry.
The most captivating thing of the day? The smiles of the happy couple. Their joyous mood was completely infectious. Congratulations Michelle and Ash, it's wonderful to see the two of you so happy together.
