dancing figures turn to mist.

Thursday 23 February 2012

I'm quite intoxicated by this photographic series, "Bronson Caves," by American artist Brice Bischoff. These long exposure photographs, recording the movement of dancing figures, at first appear as coloured mist wafting through caves. It's only once you further interrogate the images with your eyes, that you see evidence of a human form. (Or is it several?) Then you begin to imagine the movement patterns that would have produced such beautiful imagery. Wow, how much do I seriously love this?
