I had my first ever interior styling job photographed this week, hence my half presence around here lately. Following the experience, my respect for stylists has increased about tenfold. The preparation was like some sort of sleep deprivation machine and actually executing it felt like the equivalent of moving house about four times in a row.

My photos aren't quite ready to share, but it seems perfect timing to share these ultra juicy images by Danish styling superstar, Heidi Lerkenfeldt. I always thought she was clever but after my recent experience, I can now fully appreciate her command over composition, scale, proportion, colour and light. Acting as both stylist and photographer, her ability to craft images this powerful is surely a skill very few possess.
