Australian architects, Owen and Vokes have one of the most inspiring Instagram accounts I've come across so far. I've always admired their ability to work successfully in the context of Australian suburbia which, let's face it, can be pretty uninspiring and massively challenging.
I love that we can borrow their eyes and identify moments of beauty in the suburban landscape. It's just another reminder that sometimes, we just need to look a little closer. They also offer a sneaky peek at their unpublished works in progress. It's evident how some of their observations, particularly with regard to materials and detailing, has come through in their work.
Pfftt...and to think I used to poo poo Instagram. Total. Convert.
