Okay, time for some shameless self promotion. The Fringe Festival is fast approaching and the customary belly butterflies are starting to kick in.
Our installation, GEYSER, officially opens this Friday night at manysquaremetres in Kensington, Melbourne. After months of planning, designing and building, we're so looking forward to sharing our work with an audience. Here is a little teaser to whet your appetite. For those on instagram, you can find more process images under #geyserproject
I'd love to meet some of my readers so please stop by, share a drink and say hello. If you're up for some daytime sensory bathing, we will also be there on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm.
Two weeks after GEYSER, I'll also be performing in dance+anecdote which is a series of short dance pieces devised by Laura Summers and Maximilian.
Below is a video preview featuring some of the other performers. I usually have a no-video-on-the-blog policy but I'll break it this once. I felt so excited and honored to be part of the same show when I first watched this. Take a minute (well, technically 47 seconds) to watch the red fabric shifting and floating amongst the dancers.
If you want to help make dance+anecdote happen, you can contribute to the Pozible campaign which closes in seven days.
