This building made it into my Melbourne top three before it was even completed. I've been gawking at the site for months (and just quietly, there may have been one or two quasi-dangerous drivebys). Last week, RMIT's Design Hub finally held its opening official.
I was most pleased to find these photographs by Earl Carter, capturing this Godsell beauty. Well well, don't they just concretize everything I was already thinking. Such clarity in form and expression and I so enjoy that willful transformation with natural light.
As stunning as these photos are, who else is curious to see this furnished and buzzing with people?
