hump day happy place: case inlet

Thursday 8 November 2012

Due to race day public holidays, I've deemed today virtual hump day. So let's travel to this pavilion in the forest today. Designed by mw|works, this retreat is all about floating planes, intoxicating views controlled by strategic glazing and a textural collection of materials, all woven together with considered detailing.

The little greedy part of me wishes the window/door framing was a wee bit finer here and there. That might just be my steel window obsession talking.
