keeping busy.

Friday 5 August 2011

I tend to get excited about opportunities to create and learn so come weekend, I'm not so good at relaxing. However I'd say that ceramicist, Lisa Stevens, is hands down outdoing me in that department. She's challenged herself to make a dish every day for an entire year. On day 43, she was busy creating a dish with bubbling, underwater populations imprinted on the surface. Harking back to clear skies and pristine beaches, it is rather serene so perhaps making this was both work and relaxation.

Happy Friday, readers. I hope you have a relaxing weekend.

Dish #43 is a collage of underwater delights. Image via Etsy, where this dish is available for purchase.
